Read Furiously

Manuscript submissions

Writers should familiarize themselves with Read Furiously's catalog to understand its aesthetic and political sensibilities. Submissions should align with the press's mission of resistance and inclusivity. They accept proposals for full-length manuscripts and occasionally themed anthologies. A well-crafted cover letter that articulates how the work fits their vision is essential. Simultaneous submissions are typically accepted, but notify them promptly if the work is placed elsewhere. Response times can vary, so patience is advised.

At Read Furiously, we believe the publisher/creator relationship should be taken very seriously, and we do everything we can to foster it. Whether we will be working together on a single project or are planning a long-term collaboration, we are looking for creators who understand our mission and share the our passion for the written word. We encourage all creators to take their time to acquaint themselves with Read Furiously, our work, and our goals for the company.
