Calls & opportunities
3 listedManuscript submissions
Two Lines Press accepts submissions of full-length manuscripts in translation, as well as proposals for works not yet translated. They are particularly interested in contemporary literary fiction, poetry, and essays from languages other than English. Translators should submit a query letter, a sample translation (typically 10–20 pages), and the original text. Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but please notify the press immediately if the work is placed elsewhere. Given the press's focus on underrepresented literatures, they encourage submissions from a wide range of languages and regions. Response times can vary, so patience is advised. For complete guidelines, always refer to the submissions page on their website.
