About the residency

The Masters Review is an online and print publication founded in 2011 with the mission to support emerging writers. It provides a platform for new voices through its annual anthology, online magazine, and various contests, offering publication and community to writers at the early stages of their careers. Planning your application

Writers should carefully review the submission guidelines on The Masters Review website, noting that they primarily seek work from emerging writers who have not published a book. Submissions for the printed anthology typically require a fee, and deadlines are strict. It is advisable to submit polished work that fits the theme or genre specified in the call. Simultaneous submissions are often accepted, but notify promptly if your work is accepted elsewhere. Keep cover letters brief and professional, and ensure your manuscript follows the formatting instructions.
