About the residency

The Bogong Centre for Sound Culture (BCSC) was established in 2010 to investigate the relationship between industry and the natural environment through projects that focus on acoustic ecology and environmental sustainability. It supports cultural initiatives investigating the history and ecology of the Australian Alps including research, festivals, commissioned artworks, masterclasses and Artist in Residency programs. Description of the residency programme: BCSC AiR is a self-funded residency open to a broad range of artistic practices. Set within the Alpine National Park the residency provides an inspirational space for creative thought and experimentation. Residencies range in duration from a minimum of 2 weeks through to 4 weeks.
