EKWC European Ceramic Workcentre

EKWC annually welcomes around 60 artists, designers, architects, and other professionals for a period of three months. EKWC offers studios, workplaces, living space, the most advanced equipment, and the support of its experienced staff. In 2024 a soundlab is available. Participants are visual artists, designers, and architects, and most of them have not worked with ceramics before. Residents come from all over the world, their ages range between 25 and 65 years. In 2024 composers, sound artists, musicians, writers, and circus performers are also welcomed. EKWC offers residencies that are generally more focused on research and development.
