About the residency
NG Art Creative is an artist residency and creative studio program based in the south of France, founded to provide artists with focused time and space away from the demands of daily life. Its ethos centers on process rather than product, encouraging residents to experiment, reflect, and develop new work without the pressure of immediate exhibition outcomes. The program is known for its intimate scale and emphasis on community, offering shared living and working spaces that foster dialogue among a small cohort of international artists.

Artists should approach NG Art Creative with a clear sense of what they hope to achieve during a residency, emphasizing process and experimentation over finished products. Applications are typically open to artists at various career stages, with a particular openness to those under 30, who may benefit from discounted rates. It is advisable to review the specific call details for eligibility, costs, and accommodation arrangements, as the program often requires shared living spaces. A thoughtful, honest proposal that aligns with the program's ethos of exploration and community will be more compelling than a polished but generic portfolio.
