About the residency
Riverside Production Oy / Min Måndag oy is a Finnish production company that operates Skogshyddan AIR, an international artist residency. Rooted in the Nordic tradition of retreat and reflection, the residency offers artists time and space in a natural setting to develop new work without the pressures of exhibition or production. The program emphasizes process over product, encouraging experimentation and cross-disciplinary dialogue. While the organization's public profile is modest, its commitment to sustaining artistic practice through focused residencies has earned it a quiet but respected place in the residency circuit.

Applicants should demonstrate a clear need for a residency period and a willingness to engage with the natural environment and the residency's ethos of reflection. Proposals that emphasize process, experimentation, and openness to dialogue are favored over those focused on finished products. As the organization has a minimal online presence, it is advisable to contact them directly for current guidelines and deadlines before applying.
