Today Art Initiative

Today Art Initiative (TAI) is an independent Yerevan-based cultural organization working across art, ecology, and community. Founded by artist Lilit Stepanyan in 2014, TAI emerged from grassroots youth movements and has since supported creative projects in post-industrial towns, remote villages, and rural ecosystems. Its work is embedded in the social and environmental realities of Armenia and the wider South Caucasus. Talin is a historic town in the Aragatsotn region of Armenia, known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning natural landscapes. Located at the foot of Mount Aragats, the highest peak in Armenia, Talin offers a peaceful and inspiring environment for artists. The town is home to ancient architectural landmarks, including the 7th-century Talin Cathedral, and is surrounded by vast open fields and picturesque rural scenery. This unique setting provides a deep connection to Armenia’s history, traditions, and nature, making it an ideal place for artistic exploration and community engagement.
