About the magazine

Bridge Ink is a nonprofit literary and arts organization dedicated to bridging cultural and aesthetic divides through publication and public programming. Founded on the belief that meaningful exchange happens at the intersection of diverse voices, it operates as both a small press and a curatorial platform, producing anthologies, chapbooks, and reading series that foreground work by emerging and underrepresented writers. Its mission is to foster a community where rigorous craft and social engagement are not mutually exclusive, and where the page serves as a meeting ground for disparate traditions.

Editorial focus

Bridge Ink publishes creative writing by young adults ages 13 to 18. All genres are accepted.

They accept simultaneous submissions but ask for prompt notification of acceptance elsewhere. Our editors yearn to see something different, to learn from a piece of work, or to discover a new point of view. We are looking for young, honest voices daring enough to share those stories. How can a poem reveal an observation, emotion, or experience in a new or unique way? How can a story change a reader’s way of thinking? We want stories that open our minds to new possibilities.
