Submitting your work
Writers and artists should familiarize themselves with F(r)iction's aesthetic by reading past issues, available online and in print. The organization values work that demonstrates a strong voice, emotional depth, and a willingness to experiment with form. For contests like the Poetry Contest, adhere strictly to guidelines regarding length and theme, and consider how your submission might engage with visual elements. Simultaneous submissions are typically accepted, but notify promptly if your work is placed elsewhere. Response times vary, so patience is advised. Above all, F(r)iction seeks authenticity and originality over trend-following.
