Submitting your work
Inframince Journal accepts pitches for critical essays on contemporary art, with a preference for topics that engage with the infra-thin, the marginal, or the interstitial. Before submitting a full essay, send a concise pitch (200-300 words) outlining your argument, the artworks or exhibitions you will discuss, and your theoretical framework. The editors value clear, jargon-free prose that remains intellectually ambitious. Simultaneous submissions are discouraged, and response times may vary. If accepted, expect a collaborative editing process that prioritizes precision and clarity. The journal does not publish reviews of individual exhibitions unless they serve a broader critical argument.
