About the magazine

Nulla is a contemporary art platform and online exhibition space founded in 2020. Its name, derived from the Latin for 'nothing,' signals a curatorial interest in absence, negation, and the poetics of the void. The organization operates without a permanent physical gallery, instead producing digital exhibitions, limited-edition publications, and time-based projects that foreground ephemerality and critical reflection. Nulla's mission is to support artists whose work resists commodification and engages with conceptual, minimal, or post-internet practices.

Editorial focus

Cofounded by Alex Dezen and Laura Schadler, Nulla is an independent arts journal published online quarterly. They seek the surprising and well-crafted, whether in traditional or experimental styles, that strives for clarity, meaning, and emotional depth. Both emerging and established voices are welcome.
