Editorial focus
The mission of Ofi Press Magazine is to promote superb work from all over the world as well as translated work from Mexican poets.
Submitting your work
Artists and writers approaching Ofi Press should first familiarize themselves with the magazine's aesthetic range by reviewing past issues, available through its Calameo archive. Submissions are typically open for poetry, short fiction, and visual art, with guidelines posted periodically on the website. The editors value work that demonstrates formal experimentation, linguistic inventiveness, and a clear sense of purpose. Simultaneous submissions are generally accepted, but notify promptly if the work is placed elsewhere. Given the magazine's small team, response times can be slow; patience is advised. Include a brief bio and a cover letter that contextualizes your practice without overstatement. Ofi Press favors submissions that engage with cross-cultural or multilingual contexts, though this is not a requirement. Always adhere to the specified reading periods and format your files as requested.
