Editorial focus
Founded in 2027 by the MFA Program in Creative Writing at Georgia College & State University, Peach is an annual literary journal publishing singular works of poetry and prose: distinct in vision and voice, in discovery and invention; work that lives on the page and endures beyond it.
Submitting your work
Artists and writers interested in Peach should approach submissions with a clear understanding of its experimental and process-driven ethos. Review past exhibitions and publications to align your work with the organization's aesthetic and conceptual interests. Ensure that your submission materials are professionally presented, including a concise artist statement, relevant work samples, and a CV. Given its academic affiliation, demonstrating a thoughtful engagement with contemporary discourse can strengthen your application. Deadlines and specific guidelines are typically announced via the website and calls; adhere strictly to these requirements to ensure consideration.
Peach welcomes submissions of poetry and prose from writers at every stage of their careers. All work must be original, previously unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Because we do not accept simultaneous submissions, each piece receives our full attention and timely response. Peach does not consider work that was produced, in any amount, by AI.
