redrosethorns journal is an online literary publication dedicated to work exploring mental health, self-care, gender, and sexuality, in any genre and style. We are inspired by the feminist consciousness-raising movement, which gathered women to share personal stories as a way of illuminating the collective experience. In that spirit, we seek writing that educates, inspires, and motivates. We hope to spark connections across a global community of readers and writers engaging with the issues that shape our lives.
