About the magazine

Founded in 2005, it serves as a platform for emerging and established writers, with a particular emphasis on voices from the Southwest and beyond. The journal is committed to showcasing a diverse range of poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and visual art, reflecting the rich cultural tapestry of Santa Fe and its surroundings. Under the guidance of faculty advisors and student editors, SFLR provides hands-on publishing experience for students while contributing to the broader literary community.
