About the magazine

#TWP Quarterly Lit Zine is an independent literary quarterly founded in 2018 by a collective of writers and editors seeking to bridge experimental and accessible writing. Based in Portland, Oregon, it publishes poetry, short fiction, and hybrid texts that prioritize voice and risk over polish. The zine's ethos is rooted in DIY publishing traditions, with each issue hand-bound and featuring letterpress covers. It aims to foster a community of emerging and underrepresented writers through quarterly print issues and online supplements.

Editorial focus

The #TWP Quarterly Lit Zine is designed, written, and managed by teens to amplify the dynamic voices of their generation. From cover to cover, The #TWP Quarterly features curated prose, poetry, interviews, audio broadcasts, art, and photography by teens. While it predominantly features the written and visual works of teens, each issue’s cover is its own work of art that’s teen-designed and often used as a poster.
