About the magazine

W-Poesis is an online literary and arts platform founded in the early 2020s, dedicated to publishing experimental poetry, hybrid texts, and visual art that challenge conventional boundaries of form and language. Operating primarily through its website, the project emerged from a desire to create a nimble, international space for work that might be overlooked by mainstream literary journals. Artists and writers should approach W-Poesis with work that is genuinely experimental in form or concept. The editors favor submissions that demonstrate a clear engagement with language as material, and they are open to hybrid and multimedia pieces. Before submitting, review past issues to understand the aesthetic range. Include a brief cover letter that contextualizes your practice, and ensure your submission follows the guidelines on the website. Response times may vary, so patience is advised. Our magazine is like a desert where you can build your literary home. Because the acceptance rate for almost all literary journals is about 5%, we decide to open our house for quality work but without quantitative limitations. We are dedicated to discovering and publishing the finest original poetry. We prefer expressive poems that give us a feeling and affect our soul. We are not interested in porn, racial slurs, excessive gore, or obscenity. We publish quarterly, and we accept submissions year-round.
