About the magazine

Wyldcraft Literary Magazine is an independent publication founded in 2018 by a collective of writers and artists seeking a platform for work that resists easy categorization. From its inception, the magazine has prioritized writing that engages with the strange, the speculative, and the formally adventurous, while remaining accessible to a broad readership. Its mission is to foster a community of writers who take risks with language and form, and to provide a space where such work can be encountered with seriousness and care.

Editorial focus

Wyldcraft is a grassroots, female-run literary magazine. The editors think of themselves as foragers, going out into the wild to find and elevate emerging literary voices. They’re committed to lowering the traditional barriers of entry to publication, and encourage submissions from authors in every stage of their literary journey.
