Five on the Fifth is a literary magazine that publishes fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. The publication maintains a rolling submissions policy, allowing writers to submit their work at any time. While specific details regarding reading periods, fees, and editorial preferences are not provided in the available information, the magazine's focus on these three genres suggests a commitment to contemporary literary writing. As a magazine, Five on the Fifth likely curates each issue around a selection of works that reflect a range of voices and styles. The absence of a fixed deadline indicates an ongoing openness to submissions, though writers should consult the magazine's website for any updates to guidelines or reading periods. The magazine does not specify a prize or payment in the provided data, so contributors should verify terms directly with the publication. Given the limited information, writers are advised to review past issues to understand the magazine's aesthetic and editorial direction. This will help in tailoring submissions to fit the publication's sensibilities. The rolling deadline suggests that submissions are considered on an ongoing basis, but response times may vary.
