Ai Ohashi

Ai Ohashi is a Japan-based artist whose work uses video, performance, and drawing. Their practice deals with haunting images, inherited violence, and the limits of representing it. They were listed as a GlogauAIR resident for October to December 2026, working on projects about the Nanjing Massacre, including NANJING ARMS and SELL ME. Ohashi studied fine arts at Joshibi University of Art and Design and has shown in Tokyo and across Japan, including at the Aichi Triennale 2019. Recent solo shows include HOPE (IT'S MY TRAUMA) at COPYCENTER GALLERY in 2026.
