Amia Yokoyama

Amia Yokoyama is a Los Angeles-based multimedia artist who works across ceramic sculpture, experimental animation, holography, and installation. Her work explores metamorphosis, hybridity, and the collision of virtual and physical selves. She holds an MFA in Experimental Animation from CalArts and attended Skowhegan in 2017. She was an artist-in-residence at Bemis Center in Spring 2026 and is listed as a Pilchuck Glass School resident for 2027.
