About the residency

Pilchuck Glass School fosters and educates a worldwide community that explores the creative use of glass in art and design. The serene campus in Stanwood, Washington, is nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains amidst a working tree farm an hour north of Seattle. From May through October every year, Pilchuck's Summer + Fall Program offers a series of courses as well as residencies for emerging and established artists in all media. Three of these residency programs are open to yearly applications: – The Emerging Artist in Residence Program for promising artists with experience in glass – The collaborative John H. Hauberg Fellowship for a group of up to six artists working across media – The Innovation in Image Residency for artists interested in combining printmaking, digital imaging, and glass
