Becky Ellis

Becky Ellis is a Portland, Oregon memoirist and writing teacher who was a Timberwolf Pup, the daughter of a World War II combat sergeant. She holds a BA in English Literature from UC Berkeley and spent over twenty years in publishing. Her debut memoir, Little Avalanches, won the 2024 Rubery Book Award and was a finalist for the Oregon Book Award. Her essay "The Whirlpool Duet" appeared in Northwest Review in 2023.
