Becky Slivinsky

Becky Slivinsky is a visual artist who was a resident in the On::View program at Sulfur Studios in June 2018, as listed by ARTS Southeast. Her work starts and ends with the act of cleaning. In the project "Objet de Desir," she takes images of women from commercial magazines, digitally alters them, and cleans them with household products to question beauty standards and the objectification of women in media.
