Bisila Noha

Bisila Noha is a Spanish-Equatoguinean artist, researcher and writer. Her work draws on personal experience in pottery communities and centres on the idea of home. She writes and makes work that challenges Western views of art and craft, and she has a particular interest in the contributions of women of colour to the history of art and craft. Her practice ranges from clay vessels to sculptures in varied materials, and more recently includes bronze works made after time spent in Benin City and Yorubaland in 2025. She has been associated with Sarabande Foundation in London as a resident and as a current artist-in-residence.
