Cass Yao

Cass Yao is an artist from China and the United States whose practice centers on the body after intervention, including surgery, hormones, grafting and AI-generated anatomical images. Their sculptures use silicone, epoxy clay and resin-soaked fabric, with recurring holes and cavities that let pressure shift and material escape. Yao was a resident at GlogauAIR in Berlin in late 2026 and has shown in New York and Italy.
