Emily Harrold

Emily Harrold is a documentary filmmaker, director and producer from Orangeburg, South Carolina. Her films have screened at Tribeca, DOCNYC and Telluride. She was the February 2026 ON::View Artist-in-Residence at ARTS Southeast in Savannah, where she worked on a feature documentary about South Carolina's Sister Senators. Her credits include the award-winning WHILE I BREATHE I HOPE, which won a 2020 Southeast Region Emmy, and MONKEY BUSINESS, which won the Best Documentary Audience Award at the 2017 Nantucket Film Festival. She has also produced films for PBS's American Experience.
