Eugene Mirabelli

Eugene Mirabelli is a novelist and emeritus professor of English at UAlbany who has published nearly a dozen novels. His first novel, The Burning Air, came out from Houghton Mifflin in 1959. He is also known as Dr. Eugene Mirabelli, Ph.D. His novel Renato!, a single-volume compilation of his Renato Stillamare trilogy, was published by McPherson & Company in 2021 and won a Silver IPPY Award for Literary Fiction. Earlier, Renato, the Painter was his first book with the press.
