Hailey Spencer

Hailey Spencer is a poet whose work centers on fairy tales, grief, and healing. Her wife, Elizabeth, describes her as an absolute cloud of a girl. Her debut poetry collection, Stories for When the Wolves Arrive, came out through First Matter Press in 2022. She also sits on the board of First Matter Press. Her most recent collection, Glass Labyrinth, a choose-a-pathway poetry book, was published by Thirty West Publishing House in 2025.
