Jason Prokowiew

Jason Prokowiew is a memoirist whose book War Boys: A Father and Son Memoir is published by Trio House Press, with a listed July 2026 release. The braided memoir traces his father's survival after being orphaned during the Holocaust in World War II and the effects of that trauma on Prokowiew's own childhood. Trio House Press lists the book as the 2025 Aurora Polaris Award winner. Prokowiew wrote the book after years of interviews with his father, an MFA program, and a legal career that ended with his retirement in 2024.
