Joseph Malson

Joseph Malson is an artist who took part in a 2019 residency connected to Sulfur Studios and ARTS Southeast. During that residency he made a small body of work focused on the Starland neighborhood. His practice uses found and secondhand objects, textiles, and handmade materials, with a focus on queer stories and disrupting heteronormative patterns through material decontextualization and reassembly.
