Julia B. Levine

Julia B. Levine is a poet born in New York City who grew up in Flint, Michigan. She holds an MFA from Pacific University and a PhD from UC Berkeley. She has published several collections, including Ditch-Tender with the University of Tampa Press and Small Disasters Seen in Sunlight with LSU Press, the latter a Northern California Book Award winner. Levine has served as Poet Laureate of Davis, California, since 2021 and received an Academy of American Poets Laureate Fellowship in 2022.
