KASIA SURO

Kasia Suro is an illustrator from Poland who took part in a Casa Na Ilha residency in September 2018. She works as a polisensory art teacher with children and is interested in how experiencing the world through several senses at once aids learning. During the residency she made illustrations based on local legends and painted two murals, and she worked with fellow resident Tori Lassman on a body-painting piece and an illustrated story.
