Kiran Kaur Saini

Kiran Kaur Saini is a writer whose short story "More Than a Lion" appeared in Forge Literary Magazine in January 2022. The story is about two sisters, one of whom believes she can make unlikely things happen through visualization. In a Forge interview, Saini said she writes mostly from instinct and everyday observation, and that the story's idea of walking through a wall came from something someone once told her. The Forge awards page lists the story among its Best Small Fictions for 2023.
