Leslie Schwartz

Leslie Schwartz is a writer whose work includes two novels, Jumping the Green and Angels Crest, and a memoir, The Lost Chapters. Her essays have appeared in outlets such as Salon, LitHub, Brevity and The Washington Post. Her essay "Leaving the Mother Country" appeared in Dark Matter: Women Witnessing, Issue #16 (May 2023), and she read at the journal's 2025 anthology launch. Her own site notes she also contributed an editorial to that issue. She lives in Iceland and in a remote cabin in Mt. Hood, Oregon, and founded List og Land, an artists and writers residency in the Westfjords of Iceland.
