Lucy Mercer

Lucy Mercer is a poet and writer whose work explores text, image and the emblem form. Her first poetry collection, Emblem (Prototype, 2022), was a Poetry Book Society Choice. She has won the White Review Poet's Prize. She is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Exeter and lives in London. She co-edits, with Livia Franchini, the RSL-funded publication and podcast Too Little / Too Hard. For La Piccioletta Barca she has been interviewed and has served as judge of the 2024 LPB Prize, and she is also listed among contributors to the Seven Rooms anthology.
