Matthew E. Henry

Matthew E. Henry is a Boston-born poet and nonfiction writer and an educator. He has published several full-length collections, including The Third Renunciation and said the Frog to the scorpion, along with chapbooks such as Teaching While Black. He edits The Weight Journal and works as a poetry and nonfiction editor for other journals. His poetry and prose have appeared in The Baltimore Review and many other literary magazines, and he has been recognized with Pushcart and Best of the Net nominations.
