Michael Jennings

Michael Jennings is a poet born in New Orleans. His collection Bone-Songs and Sanctuaries was reviewed in Issue 5 of Stone Canoe. A reviewer describes his poems as mythic and oracular, drawing on his childhood in Iran and his family life. His 2017 collection Crossings: A Record of Travel won the Miller Audio Prize in Poetry, per his site. He also published the chapbook River Time.
