Pamela Hughes

Pamela Hughes is a poet whose second collection, Femistry, was published by 3 Mile Harbor Press in 2024. Her first collection, Meadowland Take My Hand, came out from the same press in 2017. Her work focuses on the lives of women and resistance to patriarchy and misogyny. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Brooklyn College and teaches creative writing at Bloomfield College at MSU. She edits the online literary magazine Narrative Northeast. Her poetry and prose have appeared in journals including Prairie Schooner and PANK Magazine.
