Peter Markus

Peter Markus is a Michigan-based writer whose fiction includes the novel Bob, or Man on Boat and the story collections We Make Mud and The Fish and the Not Fish, all published by Dzanc Books. He also writes poetry, including When Our Fathers Return to Us as Birds (Wayne State University Press, 2021), and his poems and stories have appeared in numerous literary journals. He teaches at Oakland University and serves as Senior Writer at InsideOut Literary Arts in Detroit.
