Priscilla Mainardi

Priscilla Mainardi is a registered nurse who holds an MFA in creative writing from Rutgers University and teaches English Composition at Rutgers in Newark, New Jersey. She has been on the editorial board of Intima: A Journal of Narrative Medicine since 2015, serving as its Fiction Editor. Her own short fiction, including "Pretending Not to Know," has appeared in Intima and in the 2026 anthology Where It Hurts.
