Reenie Charriere

Reenie Charriere is a mixed media artist based in Oakland, California, who makes sculptural installations from collected everyday materials, especially throwaways. Her work questions the waste produced by consumer society. She holds an MFA from Maine College of Art (2009). She has held residencies at venezia Contemporanea (2023) and at Domaine de Boisbuchet in France (2021), where she made large drawings and textile works using recycled workshop materials.
