Rob Hessler

Rob Hessler is an artist associated with ARTS Southeast in Savannah, Georgia, where he was a resident in 2018. His 2018 project Hindenburg (Shared Experiences) reimagined the 1937 Hindenburg disaster within an alternate universe he created, The Other Side of the World. In January 2022 he showed 18 Months, a body of work reflecting on his experience of the COVID-19 pandemic, at Sulfur Studios. He has also written criticism, including a 2024 review of an ARTS Southeast exhibition for the Savannah Morning News.
