RUTH AVA LYONS

Ruth Ava Lyons is a Charlotte-based visual artist whose work centers on environmental themes, such as degraded coral reefs, wetlands, and the Everglades. She was a resident at Casa Na Ilha in Brazil in 2018, where she made her Organism Series, a set of alcohol-based paintings of island ecology. Her paintings are in museum and corporate collections and have been shown in over 100 exhibitions.
