Sam Rock

Sam Rock is a photographer and film maker from Yorkshire, England, now based mainly in London. Born in 1987, he is known for a distinctive colour palette and a romantic, intuitive approach that explores everyday life and nostalgia. He has contributed regularly to i-D and M Le Monde, though he has recently moved away from editorial work to focus on personal projects. He took part in a residency at Casa Na Ilha in 2023, where he worked on writing, an upcoming photography book, and photographs of the island.
