STACEY KOLBIG

Stacey Kolbig is a U.S.-based multimedia artist who was a resident at Casa Na Ilha in July 2018. During the residency she used the landscape tradition to examine beauty ideals and the social and ecological responsibility they carry. Her practice combines plein air painting, lipstick drawings and drone photographs into large digitally built compositions. Her work has been shown or featured at venues including The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum and The Katonah Museum of Art.
