Tom Hallimond

Tom Hallimond is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores care, resilience, and lived experience, including the isolation of the 2020 COVID-19 shutdown. Hallimond is a recent Slade graduate who has been a Sarabande Foundation resident, with a Tottenham-based studio listed among the foundation's 2025/26 residents. Recent work includes a series of canvas paintings based on black-and-white photographs by the artist's grandfather, in which invented colours express memory and imagination. Hallimond also leads soft sculpture portraiture workshops, using fabric and thread to explore memory, care and vulnerability.
