Virginia Loo

Virginia Loo is an author based in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, with a doctorate in epidemiology. She no longer works in public health. Her memoir How to B, published by Saddle Road Press, recounts her experience of choosing to become a single mother through IVF and donor conception. The book was named Honolulu Magazine's 2024 Non-fiction Book of the Year.
