X.C. Atkins

X.C. Atkins is a Los Angeles-based writer who has published short story collections with Makeout Creek Books and Trnsfr Books. He is also an avid zine and comic creator. He serves as a contributing editor for The Tusculum Review, which published his stories "No Radio" (2019) and "Song and Dance" (2022). Before turning to full-time writing, he spent over a decade in restaurant and bar work across the United States. He is a Virginia Commonwealth University alumnus. His fiction has appeared in Prairie Schooner, Poydras Review, and Akashic Books' Richmond Noir.
